Hiawatha and the Peacemaker
In an attempt to address issues of bullying the book, 'Hiawatha and the Peacemaker' is a great story in the Iroquois tradition and in my opinion is an excellent resource for learning about this communal issue.

To help create peace and community... I strongly suggest making a personal goal of casting out some of the potential "weapons" of unkindness and placing them  under the Peace Tree... some of these weapons may include:
  • arguing and fighting
  • jealousy
  • negativity in my communication
  • negative thoughts about myself and others
  • making assumptions with obtaining the facts
  • being unkind to others
  • not including others
  • speaking unkindly about others
