All forms of bullying cause pain and stress to victims and must never be justified or excused as “kids being kids,” “just teasing,” “just joking” or with any other rationalization. Victims are never responsible for being the target of bullying and we all have a responsibility to stop it. We will not be the bullies. We will not allow ourselves to be bullied. We will not be bystander and we WILL intervene to support one another!
HWDSB Helps is a free and anonymous way for students to find help for themselves and one another. Tips may relate to student mental health, bullying, substance use and more. When students, staff and families help promote a positive school environment, schools are safer and more welcoming places.
